Hillary lost 5 and trump lost 2. None of them voted for the other candidate Three of the faithless electors voted for Colin Powell while John Kasich, Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders, and Faith Spotted Eagle each received one vote

What is the point of electorates if they don't vote for the person who won the state? If these guys can just vote for whoever then nobodies votes even matter, those guys are the only voters who matter.

Some states have laws making faithless electors illegal, and in general the electors are chosen by the respective state parties themselves. So you assume that they're gonna do their due diligence and not pick someone "undercover," so to speak.

She lost electors because it didnt change the result. It didnt matter. And Trump lost some too. Faithless electors have never changed the result of an election. And if one did, it would be challenged and taken to the courts. The way that the laws are written, electors dont have the right to chose who wins.
