Is it getting a season 2? Really loved how pulpy and campy it ended up being. Thought it was gonna be a creeping dread type of horror but I still liked it.

Wasn't a huge fan of Atticus dying. Not sure what else I would've wanted to happen with him though, so I'm not sure it's a valid criticism. Just rubbed me the wrong way, especially since a few other characters' choices during the series sort of allowed it to happen. Overall fun series though, kind of wish it had more actual Lovecraft stuff in there besides the Shoggoths. From what I understand a lot of Lovecraft works also involve cults, but I was expecting more monsters.

Just remember, Hippolyta has powers now. I don't think its permanent.

I really enjoyed this season, but I thought that the sci-fi stuff was more engaging than the magic, and if there's a second season, I'd like to see more of that.

I didn't like Diana/Dee killing Christina at the end. It seemed out of left field for her to do that. I guess it makes sense she wants vengeance in a way for Emmett Till but Christina seemed pretty solid, she saved your life and was constantly doing shit for them.

I mean.

She did all of that solely to get Atticus to come to Ardham so she could murder him.

So. Not that solid.

Didnt like the last two episodes much tbh. I especially didnt like that last scene. Seemed really out of character unless that was a hint towards something that I missed.

It's in character for Dee tbh, it's just that we haven't seen much of her since she sort of adopted that mindset. The last time we focused on her, she decided to spit in a cop's face and let the Topsy Twins murder her instead of capitulating to a white dude's commands. She was absolutely furious and fed up after Emmet's lynching, this is just a continuation of that.

You say that, but she was all like Yo gimme dat sweet book and you'll be left alone I swear. The moment they said no she started getting vindictive and took away Leti's invulnerability. Seems fine in my eyes, shouldn't have fucked around with her. She even gave tic a lesson in magic. She seems like a person who honors her word constantly. She wouldn't have killed Ruby if she didn't betray her, not to mention Ruby is right Leti only ever comes around asking for shit constantly. Christina even went through the effort to replicate Till's death because she cared enough about how Ruby felt even though she initially told her she didn't care about all the black people who got tortured. Just like Ruby got to experience what it was like to be a white woman for a day, Christina just jumped straight to the point and tried to experience the worst pain of a lynching first hand (Granted it was invulnerable, she still did it for a reason whether it was to get closer to Ruby or to see the extent of her invulnerability or honestly both.)

At best, Christina is willing to murder her last family member for her own selfish desires. If that's an indication of the type of person she is, maybe you don't want her gaining immortality, invulnerability, and ultimate magical power.

By that point, it was also bigger than just Christina and Atticus. They'd learned the plan to strip magic from white people. It's obvious they thought it was worth Tic's life to pull that off, it's damn sure worth Christina's.
