I just beat Lunar: Eternal Blue (SCD) -- 10/10 It took me just under 80 hrs, including the Epilogue. I did a playthrough topic on its game board, which added probably well over 10 hrs.

I hadn't played this since I beat it when I bought it almost 25 years ago. The only negative I can say about it is that there are a lot of pop culture references, but none of them are during important dialog that I can think of. I also don't mind them. People complain about needing to spend Magic Experience to save, but this becomes a non-issue by about the 5 hr mark, as you'll be getting enough to save from a single encounter. And even before that, it only takes a few battles to gain the needed M Exp. They removed the Magic Experience, which allows you to choose which spells you can level up (the ones you don't learn from normally leveling up) from the PS1 remake, which is the main reason why I prefer the Sega CD version. This also means they removed the cost to save, which people complained to them about.

This is definitely among my top 5 JRPGs.

Valkyria Chronicles II will likely get only my vote, but I'll still vote for it. I never got to finish it (lost my original save when my PSP was stolen) but I enjoyed the game.

^ I hope it's better than the first game. I started out really liking VC1, but the more I played, the more I disliked it due to some of the game's conventions.
