Wait the whole manga is finished now? I stopped reading around when Legoshi was fighting all the other clans, it just felt like the writing was getting worse and worse.

I probably won't finish it hearing this, anything interesting happen with Haru/Legoshi?

The last chapter is out somewhere? The last I see is 195. Anyway, yeah, lots of introduced then immediately dropped plot points in this final arc. A short list off the top of my head:

  • What was the point of Melons father showing up?
  • I guess Melon forgot about wanting to eat Haru??? No real point at all to Melon being a college professor, actually.
  • Where did Legoshis chimera go?
  • No conclusion to KyuuxGouhin
  • Barely a conclusion to LouisxJuno
  • The title ended up having very little to do with the story, even though Legoshi used Beastars as his team name in the gang battle, something that also got no payoff.
At least there was some sort of conclusion with the back alley market being destroyed and there was some foreshadowing about how that would come to pass (although we probably didnt need half a chapter about sea lion bro returning to the ocean so close to the end.

Its also nice to be finally getting back to Haru and Legoshi. Like I said, I havent read the last chapter, but presumably well be getting some sort of conclusion there, which is nice, because their relationship is what initially drew me into the series, and I wish it had spent more time focusing on them. If I had to point to one major flaw in this series, its definitely a lack of focus, but I enjoyed it anyway.
