Holy shit that was an INCREDIBLE movie
I expected it to be hokey, but instead what I got was one of the most expertly-directed and paced films I've ever seen. Unbelievably great soundtrack too. --- Razer Blade 15 - Core i7-9750H, 32 GB HyperX XMP RAM, 2 TB Samsung Evo Plus m.2 NVME SSD, RTX 2080 MQ ... Copied to Clipboard!

I just can't believe the movie that basically invented every cliche in the book came across as so fascinatingly original even after all this time.
And the directing - it's so perfect. The angles. The pacing. The building tension, the silence. Etc. It reminds me of Film Noire in a lot of ways. It also holds up better than any movie from the 60's has any right to. --- Razer Blade 15 - Core i7-9750H, 32 GB HyperX XMP RAM, 2 TB Samsung Evo Plus m.2 NVME SSD, RTX 2080 MQ ... For other takes on the Western film genre, I recommend The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, Unforgiven... and The Quick and the Dead. <P
