I should try making my own. We dont have lot of options of kimchi here and its a bit expensive imo. Ive obly tried 2 sorts, one from the grocery store, it was bad, the cabbage was shredded and it was just ugh. But the other one from an asian store was great, good flavor and not shredded to hell.

I heard a lot of people in Korea have stomach cancer and a big reason is due to kimchi. I hope it's not true because I heard it benefits your gut health a lot.

how does fermented vegetable cause cancer? afaik none of the ingredients are even remotely carcinogenic

Yeah, I go to the same food truck that's by my office everyday. Unfortunately they won't be here this whole week. But on the bright side, that's because they're partnering with a restaurant that's opening in a mall :D

I like to think that my going there so often has contributed to their success lol

If you order gochugaru online you can prrtty much use whatever veg you want
