When I posted about this earlier a couple people seemed interested but were under the assumption that it'd be a lousy mobile game (which might still happen ) but at least there's a legit board game coming :)))

Because otherwise they'd have to use their own money, duh!

On a fundamental level, they're kinda just taking pre-orders. It's not nearly as bad as a lot of other legit companies that have a project on a napkin and ask you to finance every step of the development despite the fact they've done stuff like that all along.
