Zeus awakens you and tells you to rescue his daughter, and your first job is to escape some underground crypt.

After you do, its night when you reach the surface, and the moonlight gifts you your first transformation: the werewolf. The werewolf can use its air-dash kick thing to cross chasms the human form cant jump across.

Now you go on and explore a fantasy version of Ancient Greece. You can find transformations (bear, dragon, tiger, etc), and the abilities of those forms will be your main method of exploring the world and progressing. You can also find magic orbs that will beef up your human form and make them better at combat.

idk after that I havent given it more thought, but I think this will work. Someone contact SEGA and tell them to make this lol

Honestly...this sounds like a much better game than the original. I can't wrap my head around as to why Sega keeps rereleasing it and putting it on every single collection. Even as a 6 year old in the early 90s I thought it was boring and shit.

To be honest I actually agree with your idea. I always saw altered beast was a extremely underrated game. Not a very good game, but there's a million things you could do with it to make it better
