Board 8 > Why do games put their save files in my documents folder?

azuarc 09/17/20 1:22:23 PM #1:	Like, okay, it's nice that they'll survive an uninstall, and I'm more likely to preserve my overall documents folder if I reformat or move to a new computer, but I have so many save game folders in My Documents that I've had to make a "Documents" sub-folder to separate them. And that's with half of them having the decency to stuff themselves into a "My Games" sub-folder that somebody created. This is something that's bugged me for a while, but I was prompted to look for an old file that may or may not even be on my current computer, and I've just got so much crap to sift through that isn't part of my own organization system.
