Keeps costs down so people who only play a couple of games (such as children who only care about Minecraft and Fortnite who will be begging their parents for the new game console this Christmas) can get in on the action, and makes people buy those proprietary expansion cards But Apparently game sizes won't be stupidly huge this time due to better compression and some technical magic We'll see though The PS5's SSD is only like 830GB IIRC so I'm hoping the smaller game size thing is true.
