"So in this episode, we were tricked into moving into a house that was haunted by a white cultist who performed human experiments on Black people he kidnapped."

"And in this episode, we're breaking into a museum and solving mini-game puzzles"

I liked that, too, tbh.

I never thought about it, but a Lovecraftian inspired adventure story can be really interesting.

The pacing is very strange, but it makes for a very unique watch honestly. I'm loving it.

It only does that in one episode

I just used "National Treasure" because it sounded funny in the topic title and was applicable to this episode. But episode 2 also ditched most of the horror elements and was a far more straightly-played adventure/fantasy type deal. I'm curious if this is how the rest of the series is going to be paced out, or if one side is going to take over the other.

Yeah I'm really getting sucked into the mythology of this story. >_>
