In a recent research study conducted by Top10Casinos.com, the findings suggest that Xbox players are the most toxic gamers out there, surpassing PlayStation users in physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.

Working on the study were professional psychologists to administer the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire to around 1,000 gamers.

To be more exact, precisely 964 people were looked into, exploring which games and consoles appeared to be linked with the angriest and emotion provoking behaviour.

Top10Casinoscom have stated that: "For those who have lived through Xbox 360 MW2 multiplayer lobbies or have ever played an online game of FIFA know that video games have a great ability to send your aggression levels through the roof.

"With so much pride at stake, failures to complete levels and win online matches can send you over the edge. But have you ever wondered which games make you the angriest?"

With scores of 0.541 for physical aggression and 0.634 for verbal aggression, along with 0.526 for anger and 0.624 for hostility, Xbox users are by far the angriest gamers out there.

Top10Casinos.com continued: "Its official, Xbox players are the most toxic gamers, having the highest levels of physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger and hostility.

"Anyone else getting Xbox 360 MW2 lobby flashbacks?"

It might also be worth mentioning that on average, male gamers were found to be 13 percent more aggressive than female gamers.

So, there we have it folks, male Xbox users are the worst of the worst!

Joking aside, it would appear that studies such as this might end up upsetting the gaming community, especially if their desired platform is Xbox.

I'm not sure about The One but back in the 360 days, everyone was a raging asshole. Playstation and Nintendo players, aside from Smash, are much more chill and friendly in my experience. This even translates to real life for me. Everyone I personally know who mains PS4 or the Switch are super friendly and great. Meanwhile, the Xbox players I personally know are garbage people who will talk shit about your dead relatives.

Sony always wins, baby.

The Xbox one was $100 more @ launch. And I'm sure that sounded clever in your head buddy.

I have both btw and a gaming PC.

360 came with a mic in the box and ps3 you had to buy a bluetooth headset to chat. There was less talking on ps3 period because of that reason alone.

With the new gen idk really I hardly hear anyone yelling out racial slurs and shit at all. The park in 2k is equally as shitty on both systems. The only toxic shit I ever hear in CoD is people blaming their teammates for sucking and that happens on both.

10 years ago? Absolutely. Those modern warfare lobby videos are mostly about the 360, and every game had lobbies like that.

Now? PC is easily the most toxic. Just play any single League, Valorant or CS:GO match.

I remember my gears of war 1, 2, and 3 days being god awful, lmao. Like, I had a perfect reputation (the most terrible system microsoft ever came up with, and one I am glad sony never copied from them), but as soon as I got into gears of war MP, that shit straight up tanked via salty losers, lol.

My reputation was so tarnished that I was actually banned twice, 2 days each, because I am guessing my reputation got too low.

Nowadays, I imagine all platforms has a trash overwatch community.
