-Freeflow seemingly gone in favor of something more akin to traditional third person action games
-Options for variations in melee, ranged and stealth types
-Stamina bar (bottom left purple bar from gameplay vid) for specials attacks. Ties into ability tree and gear
-Open world fully available from the jump
-No level gating whatsoever
-Enemy levels vary based on types of missions
-Missions can be approached from different ways, stealth or straight action
-Suits are customizable, but there will also be full skins
-Game is fully single player with optional 2 player co-op
-You can have two of the same character in co-op
-NOT a GAAS
-Multiple villains with their own branching storylines
-Takes place over multiple nights, but daytime is limited to the Belfry (base of operations)
-Room for growth within the game's universe. Possibly hinting at more stories coming in the future.

This is why the same stories get told multiple times. Remakes, reboots, etc.

Sounds like it should be fun. My main concern is that the action RPG mechanics won't be as satisfying as the freeflow combat or predator stealth in the Arkham games.

I just wonder how well the stealth and the action will synergize (ugh) when two players use opposing playstyles. The trailer really didn't show stealth once Batgirl busted shit open.

I think a game about the Bat Family is cool. And hew probably not dead. I bet he faked his death and you find out at the end of the game he's still alive

No. There's like one thing that's similar with Batman's fate but nothing else follows it.

From first impression it's easy to get confused though. They really should have used something else for Batman's disappearance/end.

I imagine the reason has to do with "-Multiple villains with their own branching storylines."

Enemies scale with your level. Say you do all of Mr. Freeze's plot and then go do Penguin's. Penguin's low-level goons will be a higher level to compensate for you being a higher level.

Fuck that. I like Damian well enough, but he has been shoved in enough things for a while. It's great that Tim has a spotlight in these games. The only other time he got some recognition outside of the comics was Batman TAS...which was in name only as his weapon, costume and intelligence were all stapled on to Dick.
