Warning, it is not an easy watch. There are so parts that are tough to get through. But it is a powerful and gripping movie with an amazing lead performance.

I'll be honest and say rape is by far my least favorite thing in movies and I seriously avoid almost all movies the feature it. I skipped over most of those scenes in this movie.

Gives movie recommendation but skips those scenes.

By skipped I mean I hit like skip 10 seconds ahead a few times, I didn't skip the entire scenes. Should have been more clear. I am so used to calling the button on my keyboard the skip button.

I liked the Babadook. I know this one is a drastically different sort of film. I've been putting it off but maybe I'll watch it this week.

I actually didn't like the Babdook and had no idea it was the same director until after I finished it.

I've heard it's amazing, but rape scenes are one of the very few things I just can't stomach in movies, so IDK if I'd be able to handle it.
