She was in her 70s. Unfortunately she did this to herself, apparently she was very stubborn and kept going out. I don't know if she took precautions but her family constantly told her not to.

She got it, infected her husband, and she didn't make it

My mom is completely heartbroken. I've met her a few times in my life, but it was my mom who was close to her.

I've always taken precautions, been made fun for it because people are morons, but this is a reminder that its real. Take it seriously, yall

my mom is almost 60

My dad is like this. He doesn't give a fuck. It pisses me off to no end since my mom has been extremely diligent in taking all the right precautions and staying in doors, but that doesn't help much if my dad is out there pretending he's too good for this. They're both in their early 70s now so like... yeah.
