Don't worry about it. I got permabanned from GAF back in the day bc I said something about PS4>Xbox (had to do with Horizon I think), and the mods said no console wars on their site without a shred of irony or self-awareness.

I got a three day ban on ERA for pointing out how despite their posturing, most users there are whiteliberal.png, and the mods said 'no meta political posts'. God forbid someone on that site pull their head out of their ass and try to critique the userbase and echo chamber.

eh, the amount of racism, "ironic" or otherwise (none of it's ironic, and never has been) on 4chan is pretty bad. Global rule 4, specifically "no racism outside of /b/" is rarely enforced.

the typical ERA poster is a Hillary Clinton campaigner, which is bad in a different way

ResetEra is where miserable people go when they get bored and want to make issues out of nothing. Sometimes it's valid, but there's so many times where they're just vile, awful people who just want to claim problems where there are none to make people and developers feel bad for stuff they've done that is innocuous.

I don't follow it enough, and I'm sure that the valid complaints outnumber the invalid ones, but I can't imagine being on a forum like that where you can't even disagree with someone without getting a ban.

Yep, it's very easy to ignore the threads that don't interest you. I even found a script someone made that lets you just click on an X next to the thread titles to instantly ignore them without those annoying pop-ups.

And I gotta say it's refreshing to actually read a thread about a game or TV show and not have it constantly derailed by bickering trolls. I mean it's still not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than trying to discuss anything on the game or TV boards here. The TV boards here used to be great too, but they've really gone to shit in recent years...
