there is also a group that worship pitbulles. or they call them, "pitties". and they are the opposite of that subreddit. I think both extremes are stupid. not all pitbulls are bad but anyone who ignores that a LOT of dog attacks come from them, is in denial.

I thought this was "BanPitbull" and it was a subreddit about banning the rapper.

Nah this aint an opinion where you can respect it. Calling for an extermination of a breed due to their owners is lame af. Ive seen way too many nice pit bulls in my lifetime.

Rotts are like 10% as dangerous as abpts.

There's really such a big difference it's literally impossible to explain away by blaming owners. Owners own many dogs that are larger and stronger than abpts but for some reason none of those owners have any chronic dog violence problems.

Im fine saying the owners are the issue, pitbulls attract tatted up drug dealers, and people with a savior complex who want to prove the stigma wrong

I got my pit from a nice family and now he's around my family. His only issue is getting to excited and running through them. He flipped my niece one time. She was so confused, it was hilarious once I realized she was fine. But she can pull his tail, grab his face and everything and all he does is act slightly annoyed. On the flip side, my sister has a blue healer that growls everytime you want him to move.

I can be case by case on it, if I see full grown man walking a pitbull I feel its probably a safe dog

If I see a karen or a teenager walking one id steer clear

Lol. Neither of those things are true. If I tried to even move my sisters dog with force he'd get me. Also my neighbors little dog would try biting my ankles whenever I walked pass their house. But neh, it's the dog and not the owner, right?

Actually I don't remember who you're blaming. If you're blaming the owners, cool.

But Im not gonna tell people my dog will bite them just cause he's a pit, even though he never even attempted to bite a person.

Seems like you have a lot of preconceived biases that don't just pertain to dogs lol A large portion of dog trainers are younger and older women.

thats offensive. Pit bulls also have the highest owned population per breed so of course on a pure numbers basis, they would commit the most crime

Here is what it says

Man pit bulls ruined my life (story)

When I was 9 years old, my father, a pit bull, left my family. He was a major alcoholic who used to beat my mom right in front of me. I will never forget Christmas 1997 when he ate all of our toys. My mom had been working overtime at Kmart to get us the best presents. I come down excited that morning only to see my dad, a pit bull, chewing everything she bought us into pieces. I always got made fun of at school for having holes in my socks because my dad would eat those too. One day the ice cream truck passed our house and my dad just sprinted after it, never to return.

I still think of how much I missed out in my childhood for never having a real dad. We MUST ban pit bulls in the United States and across the world. If only we had a real president like Hilary Clinton who would do something about this ;_;
