Depends on the year. Never been on a salary or been with the same job for 2 years or longer.

Currently making $737 a week on unemployment until the end of july, after that its either nothing for awhile until I feel safe enough to try looking for work or congress renews the unemployment pay.

210k a year excluding bonuses. However I made about 100k on options so far this year (most I've ever made) so I'm on cloud 9

I wish I was you tbh i'm truly jealous of anyone that successfully profits highly on options. I have high risk tolerance but im just too afraid of the unknown to jump in.

Don't get me wrong, I've definitely had some asshole puckering moments in years past. Options are incredibly stressful at a certain point and it is not worth it depending on the situation. Honestly, I'll probably never do it in the scale again. The majority of my investments are in long term holds.

Anyone thinking about options should not do it if they don't have at least a year of an emergency fund saved up. It's gambling at best and most people that I know who do it barely have savings.

Laid off thanks to corona (Data Engineer for a fast growing travel company) but I was making 6 figs. I'm confident that I can do so again once jobs start to become more available again.

I'm sure. I don't know much about that field, but I'd assume it's transferable in many industries

My rule on options is I never short. The lowest a stock can go is $0. The highest a stock can go is limitless.
