You do these 4 things and the vast majority of Americans will no longer have anything to complain about:

1. Get the dirty money out of politics
2. Make healthcare free for all
3. Forgive student loans and make 4 year colleges free
4. Create viable, affordable housing so anyone working full time on minimum wage can get by. That or give the people credits towards affording their rent.

2-4 could be done by slashing the military budget. Biggest waste of money in the US government by far.

Capitalism will inevitably collapse when the lack of natural resources makes exponential growth of profits physically impossible. It's not inevitable that the following system is socialism or communism. A static system where most people work as slaves and a handful enjoy luxurious lives (that don't get any more luxurious) is also possible.

see, the republican MO is to make it as hard as possible for the government to be efficient at anything, through budget cuts and arbitrary restrictions of power, and then claim look how inefficient the government is

There will be lots to complain about with 75% effective tax rates and debt levels on par with Greece.

And basically no one actually paid that, there were even more loopholes and deductions and out right fraud back then.

The difference is the list of things Dirty provided would be trillions annually. So those high rates would need to be enforced and actually paid.
