I have the first three, played 2 and 3 but never finished them >_> 2 was pretty good, 3 had more open maps but was still pretty linear, and 4 looks like WW2 Hitman.

Also the sniper elite zombie games are hard as hell. I think the new one looks awesome but it's maybe Epic only?

I really enjoyed 4, but also it's the only one I've played. From what I've read, 2 is supposedly fairly linear, and 3 is where the levels started opening up and allowing for more diverse approaches, which they expanded upon with 4.

The big gimmick is sniping but a lot of th etime you'll play it more like a proper stealth game too

Also Hitman is nothing like this series, like at all. Hitman isn't about murdering your way through Naziville

Well I mean the same idea is across the SE series: kill people from stealth. The primary objective is to sneak in, kill target, get out without being noticed and killing a ton of people in Hitman.

Though I'm interested in what you think is alike from the video because now I'm really curious

It'd probably just be easier for me to buy the game and play it to come up with my own opinion but since I haven't finished 2 or 3 I feel guilty spending money on a new game

Have you ever played a Zombie Army game? They play very similar. I think they are cool games, the slow mo cut scenes of a bullet smashing through bones is fun.

While obviously there's a lot more of a body count in Sniper Elite, I think it's comparable to Hitman in that both have wide open areas with a lot of verticality, and enemy AI that you can lure into traps.

ngl this topic made me reinstall sniper elite 2, gonna just play on super casual mode just to rush through it though.

Actually kinda glad I did this, I've already unlocked 5 achievements, some of which I was just really close to getting on my original game and just never finished.

I actually started with the first. Use to play it with my friends in multiplayer and laugh whenever we shoot guys in the nuts. The game was like nothing else at the time. I was suppose to play 4 with my boy, but we never linked up for it.
