I generally block people that tell me to Shut the fuck up. Not against the tos but i dont care to talk to rude people who say it, especially to me.

Troll gimmicks that are allowed like vegy for example or full throttle
goatthief's alts whenever I see them since he uses them to bypass being blocked.
Sometimes I block every cegal when I think they've been asking me for too much money

I do not block people based on opinion differences alone. But if they are intentionally antagonistic, like ClearandLazy or whatever, then yeah that's getting blocked.

if they're known to spoil stuff (games, movies, TV shows), and something that I'm looking forward to is soon coming out.

there's a poster who's known to spoil stuff right in the topic title (Izaul/Melange/Crepes), so it's hard to miss.

Say you're switching channels on a TV and there's a group of like 5 channels that are just constantly static. Wouldn't you rather just be able to skip those without having to go through them?

• When people say that they are going to ignore me but don't. I feel like I'm doing them the favor at that point.
• If people are unnecessarily hostile all the time.
• I'm starting to block people who constantly make "*user* is warned/suspended/banned." topics just out of sheer annoyance.

I block people who enter my lobbies and under perform 3 consecutive matches. like at some point you just got to play better.

Most of those I've blocked are people that make it clear they're assholes. Homophobes and transphobes and other bigots, antagonistic people, attention whores, trolls in general, you get the picture. Basically anyone who isn't worth the oxygen they breathe, much less the time it takes to read their posts or interact with them.

A few others are just gimmicks I don't care for. This one dude who spams threads on older game boards for instance, the necrobumpers, and the Boogie posters for instance.
