1/1000 of gold embedded in that note. You *should* be able to refine it down to the 1/1000 an ounce if you desire...I know a lot of 24k plated items have so little gold getting the Au out of it is impossible. Not that your time is worth it for just a few dollars of gold, but it should be possible with this note.

I did not pay for this. I got it for free. The idea seems neat...a voluntary currency(in Utah) backed by gold that some businesses out there accept. I don't know why I would need or want to pay for something with this(these notes go up to 1/20th an ounce i think which is a decent chunk of money in Au spot), but its cool to look at, and since there is real gold in there i'll take it. Just need 1,000 friends with 1,000 different addresses so I can combine them all to form an actual ounce!
