LOST had little cultural impact for how big it was. Almost nobody talks about it today.

I guess you could say it helped transition television to its golden age of serialized stories.

I'm still upset about Flashforward. That was the best chance for the next Lost. It was actually pretty good

Wasn't this the early 10s?

I remember the one where a plane vanished or something

Remember how Heroes was supposed to be the Lost-killer and then how bad it ended up being after the first half of the first season

LOST started with a bang, and kept on adding mysteries and twists that kept me in anticipation of the next episode... and then it falls apart by never answering any of the mysteries and ends with a somewhat ambiguous "you're all just dead, but didn't know it" ending. Can't believe I wasted so much time on that dud!

Sigs are rather pointless, except if it's to showcase animation and images.

That's from late 10s. Manifest is actually in its 2nd season as we speak

Entire first season was great

It's everything after that was awful

I feel like a shitty final season is mostly to blame for that. Same thing that killed Game of Thrones

I think Game of Thrones will still be remembered and have influence, despite its shitty finale. Dexter and Sopranos still maintained their cultural impacts despite bad endings.

The Sopranos had a great ending but even if it didn't its pretty laughable to put it next to *Dexters* finale

I'm not sure if it's nostalgia, but I went back and watched some of Season 1 and 2 and enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it overall but parts of it were just shockingly bad. Nowhere near the quality of Lost.

Well the main reason I liked Flashfoward was that they hinted at it having lots of potential later. There was a scene where this guy had a "map" of the timeline and there were all these branching events on a white board. If the show had lasted, the story could have gotten quite complex

I just remember it being super controversial. You're right, it's nowhere near Dexter's level.
