I'll be getting my mom new speakers soon, I need to know what kind of jack this is. It looks like to me it could be an optical out with the cover still attached but I'm not entirely sure. Could be coaxial maybe?

Either of those would work since I have the necessary cables.
I just wonder if it could be a cover on a coaxial output or something. I'd have to buy a coaxial cable if that's the case.

I don't think that's a cover, it looks like it's sitting too flush with the case. The TV mentions a DTS trademark of 2012, I'm thinking it's both. A multiport 3.5mm trs and mini-toslink.
