This is apparently the direction some of the higher ups and the story group wanna take things going forward though. Not just with the films, but as I mentioned, with comics, books, and games too. Sword of the Jedi would've been a series focusing on Jaina Solo and Jagged Fel And there would've been a trilogy focusing on the main trio Legacy was more of less wrapped up by the rebranding IIRC there's still Old Republic But apart from that there wasn't a whole lot going on. And this is why they'll continue to churn out poor movies and the brand will kill itself in a few years because most fans will have tapped out by then.
