@digi

Looking to get my mom some wireless headphones to use at the gym. She's an old person, so the fidelity doesn't really matter--just don't want to get her garbage.

Amazon links would be appreciated. Thanks, m8s.

Honestly I've been using these for a few years, super functional and I feel like there's basically as good as quite a few much more expensive pairs I've tried. Cheap so you won't worry about losing/breaking them either.

I use this and I've never had any issues with them, but maybe there's some reason these suck

https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTH240-Bluetooth-Headphones-Hands-Free/dp/B00AWIPITS/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=kinivo+bth240&qid=1573859621&sr=8-2

I chose them because they were inexpensive so maybe it's not what you want. I bought a bunch of them in different colours so i have a bunch all over the place for different reasons. One at work connected to my laptop, one at work connected to my phone when I go for walks, one in my car that I use when I go shopping, one at my house for going for walks, and one in my gym bag. none of them have ever given me trouble

....but I've lost a couple, so I replaced them with these, which are in ear

Oh wow, I didn't realize how cheap these ran.

I'm basically just looking for something reliable and equipped with the ability to change the songs/volume without touching the phone.

Yeah, this does exactly that

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71bIYvKcqVL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

One of the ears has a slew of buttons. You hold that phone button to turn it off or on (or hold it for like 10 seconds to pair it with your device), but just pressing the phone button pauses and unpauses whatever is playing

Above the phone button are skip forward and backward buttons to change songs, and below it is volume control. They work fine.

You can also use it for calls when paired with your phone since it even has a microphone. I've only ever done it once but it seemed to work well.

...The only problem is I always forget which set of buttons is volume control and which skips songs....

I find Philips tends to have really good audio quality for cheaper products (<50$) but IDK about wireless functionality.
