It made them feel more real as people than your traditional "here's our final moment together" scene since we all know that reunions can happen. Better than making an annoying open-ended, cliffhanger ending like many long-running shows like to do. --- Congratulations! Parks and Rec was always a positive show. I would have been more pissed if they pulled a How I Met Your Mother and completely changed the tone that the series was known for. That's also what I hated so much about Chuck. The show was overall so positive, and every season finale was heartwarming. Then the actual series finale ~~leaves an unnecessary cliffhanger that robs you of you of the same fuzziness of every other season finale.~~ Call me a romantic, but I want my positive shows to have a positive ending. Of course it had to end like that, with everyone getting the futures they deserve.
