to be honest, i use RT (critics) as the main rating basis of films and its rarely been inaccurate for me

guess it depends on ur tastes but the whole anti-critic movement just reflects the anti-expert sentiment in society rn. its not an objectively bad thing but people who do it for the bandwagon effect wont help anything

I enjoyed it since I went in knewing it would be mediocre. Watching it in 60FPS was interesting. It felt like a video game sorta. Loved the water + special lighting scenes.

High frame rate is never going to work for films.

Going back to my original question, when was the last time "damn libs!" was cried when a movie reviewed poorly? Usually it's used here when a movie reviews well. Same thing with "studio bribes". I almost never hear it used in reverse other than with Joker.

I saw Gemini Man last night. Personally, I'm in agreement with the 84% of the user reviews on Rotten Tomatoes that loved the film. It's a really excellent action film. If you enjoy action films, you'll enjoy Gemini Man. My only main criticism is that it's a little slow during the beginning, but during that time it does a good job of establishing the characters before all hell breaks loose. It's not a perfect film (there are some things I feel they could have done better) but overall it's a very enjoyable action film.

If someone is looking for the next Lawrence of Arabia or Citizen Kane or whatever other highly acclaimed film, they aren't going to find it in Gemini Man. But if you want an excellent action film with very likable characters and a very smooth, well paced story to go with the action, definitely see Gemini Man.

@Parappa09 I'm going to make alt accounts on twitter to say that ad astra only started getting bad reviews when WOKE critics realised it was about the man to man bond between a father and son and it will shoot to 100% audience score and 50 oscars
