Playing through Soul Silver and Im legitimately stuck on Morty. My team, is a
Lv24 Baylees Lv23 Flaafy And Heracross, Poliwag, and Vulpix almost at level 20. Its a pain in the ass to level Poli and Vul because every wild Pokmon in the area is a fucking Hyper Fang raticate, and everything earlier gives almost no experience. And this is after I killed all the trainers in the Olivine Light House. Heracross cant do crap to Morty, and Baylees and Flaafy both get splatted by Gengars Shadow Ball. This game isnt supposed to be hard, but somehow I ended up with a team that just totally blows for the part that Im at. You picked the wrong starter. Croconaw uses bite and eats all them ghosties super easy.

Yassss just beat him.
So Im actually picking this up for the first time in a few months and i forgot my Frop was a level 25 Poliwhirl, not a poliwag. Haunter outspeeding all my mons with hypnosis was the real pain, so I just used Poliwhirls hypnosis back at him. The main event was Milky vs Gengar, the most anticlimactic fight ever. Miltank would sleep for two or three turns before waking up and getting a single stomp in, then go right back to sleep. Still, it worked, fufufufu.
