Total snoozefest. Every song is like 12 minutes long and has a 5 minute build-up before anything exciting happens. I'm all for setting a mood with a song, but it doesn't have to be every song on the album. I think I genuinely enjoyed like two songs, one was the second to last song I think... I'd have to go back and look to see what the titles are.

Yeah, Im loving this album, not going to lie. Dont think it will top Lateralus for me though. Im a little disappointed in the lack of bass lines, I think Justin is trying to serve the songs more rather than stand out so much, which still works but as a bass guy I cant help but feel wanting more. Adam really stepped it up on this record though, damn.

I never really was the biggest Adam fan, always felt like he was the weakest member of the band. Dany is a god tier drummer, maynard is an amazing vocalist, and justin has had truly unique bass line hooks, but I've always felt like Adam was more of a supporting roll to everyone else. But god damn, he really brought some amazing things to this album. It feels bizarre to me that Tools possibly best album is thanks to Adam Jones. Theres something about those riffs in this one that just really stands out and takes me places. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
