the store is having a sale where you can get a clearance action figures under 30 bucks for 5.

However employees have an even crazier deal

Clearance figures 2 for 5 instead

so yea, jumped on that

about 15 of the figures were Power Rangers. They apparently decently maintain their retail value online (for now), which is part of the reason I hit those so hard

there were 3 sets. "Metallic" , the "Zord" set, where they come with a piece of the Megazord and ya gotta collect them all, ala marvel figures

and finally the Zeo line

The Zeo line is missing the Red Ranger, and the Metallic line IS missing the Red Ranger as well, BUT they had a separate stand alone Red Ranger figure that has the Green Ranger Armor. He has the Dragon Dagger AND his sword. So that makes up for that

The Zord line is complete.

Now heres the thing, since essentially each entire line was like 12 bucks to me, I was actually thinking about keeping one. as some of yall may recall, I found my childhood toys not too long ago, including the old Power Ranger ones I had, and I have since displayed them in my house. I was thinking to keep a line of the new figures and display them next to the old ones to show the contrast of figures back then and now.

Zeo is out tho.

But heres the giant first world problem. Do I keep the Metallic lines? Or do I open up the zord line so I can build the Megazord? What sucks is the Zord line doesn't include their classic weapons, they gave it up so you get the robo parts instead.
So the figures themselves wouldn't be as cool to display since they just have those lame ass dagger\guns. and obviously the Metallic ones don't have the zord

DECISIONS

anyways, I also got a bunch of other stuff too, of which are gonna be presents, which is the reason why I did this. Early Christmas shopping

I got some cute but deadly Overwatch figures, a few savage world figures, a cup head one, and so on.

Someone came in and bought all of our Marvel clearance figures too

I jumped on getting two of those huge mega man toys that retailed at 40 for 5 each.
I only got two because I thought it was going to be a small thing, but then I saw that it was a huge thing. Size matters apparently.

Also the guys got them off of the top shelf by hooking them with a long stick and catching them as they fell. That could not have been Gamestop policy....

you're right for the most part but the Tank class figures look pretty good tho

but thats probably because they're bigger, more room for detail

also the robos look good too

also keep in mind

some figures were actually NOT on clearance and they still applied

some of the Marvel legends figures I sold to that one guy were 22.99 and were still marked down to 5 when I scanned them

Clearance prices usually end in 7.
19.97 for example

so that was really weird
You might have to check each figure if you're there to clear out

Doesn't apply to every action figure obviously. I checked our Saitama One Punch Man figure and he was still full price. And half of the figures the guy brought up to the counter didn't apply either.

I ended up opening TWO lines of toys

the Megazord line (but I just took out the Build a Figure pieces and built him) and probably gonna get rid of the rangers themselves

and the regular line that comes with their weapons

on top is the New generation, bottom is my old childhood toys

I laugh because the team is a mix and match of different toy lines

Trini is a bendable toy so shes leaning against the side all drunk

also featuring the Phantom Ranger on the right and the black beetleborg on the left

so yea,t hats what I did with this sale, among other things
