Even if I mixed up my information, I wouldn't really count on ResetERA for accurate numbers regardless. Nintendo never came out and officially said Fates sold better than Awakening as far as I'm aware. They have only said that Awakening did 1.9 mil and Fates did 1.6 mil back in the 2017 sales report. I doubt Fates got a significant sales boost from the 2017 Nintendo report considering that 3DS was on its way out at that time and Echoes came out. Lastly, even that NPD report and people with access to that info say Three Houses is the second best selling FE behind Awakening in terms of lifetime sales. Fates is always grouped together when it comes to total sales to save the hassle.
