use mednafen, it's a hassle to set up compared to the gui emulators but it's way better once you're there

ePSXe works pretty well for me. PSXjin as well, and if I remember correctly PCSX is another popular one.
Bizhawk might work too, but it's really resource heavy so don't bother unless you have a really good computer. What emulators?
Do you run the setups before trying to run a game? Do you have the right plugins? The correct BIOS? --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. We're not going to strip out the soul of the site. -CJayC ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've been having trouble with ePSXe, but pSX works great, even if it doesn't have the same bells and whistles.
I did need to install DirectX runtimes (https://fantasyanime.com/emuhelp/psx#i-get-a-missing-d3dx9_26-dll-error), so that could be your issue. ... Copied to Clipboard!
