Board 8 > When a new video or song is released, Do you listen to it backwards?

Just recently Overwatch released a new character, apparently in his origin video, if you play it backwards, he says "RELEASE MEEEE" and various other things

also recently I watched a Did you know gaming video and they revealed in a song in Zelda a Link Between Worlds, the castle theme played backwards is the Castle Theme in LTTP

And the Paul McCartney is dead theory partially depends on listening to a song backwards

but yea, what I'm tryin to get at is, who are these people doing this?

I mean, sure theres pay offs sometimes like in the examples above but there must be SO MUCH wasted time with other things that weren't intended to be like that or don't have discoveries

My friend and I once recorded ourselves saying stuff (mostly Anchorman quotes), played it backwards, then recorded ourselves saying our best interpretations of the backwards recordings, played those backwards and see how close we came to the original quotes. We actually did a pretty damn good job.
