Idk if a dry meatball sandwich would be any good.

Eh, marinara doesn't ruin meatballs but there are better sauces for them, like brown gravy. Of course, it depends on the kind of meatball too. Some meatballs are best with BBQ.

I wouldn't set foot in a Subway these days. 20 years ago they were legit, 15 they were ok, 10 you could at least get a ham egg on flatbread that was good, 5 they went to total crap and never recovered.
