I watched Code Geass R1 and R2 recently and I can't say I know what you're referring to.

I haven't figured out how to make a table-kun prop but I have a Nina cosplay that I can order any time.

If you still don't know the scene after posts 2 and 3, then you didn't actually watch it.

Not even the worst thing in that show. Actually it's kind of messy how the show implies there's a moral value to Nina getting herself off while crushing on Euphemia. Like, why is the scene even here? With this and what comes afterwards, what are we saying about people like Nina?

I dont think Code Geass can be trusted on making any moral statement lol

I looked the scene up, honestly I still can't tell exactly what she's doing there. I guess I assumed she was having another weird panic attack because of the duration and non-existent lighting

Don't be. I had no idea that's what she was doing the first time I saw it either.

While looking at a picture in a magazine of Euphemia doing volunteer work with some kids (in a whole-ass princess dress).

No, I think it's really clear. Nunnally enters and she quickly closes that magazine like nothing at all is weird about her hanging out on an empty classroom with the lights turned off.

God, this show is ridiculous.

Edit: the way she throws her head back in what's clearly climax. And then the scene goes on like nothing about the past minute was off.

You phrase this as though it makes it more sexual. If anything it's another obfuscating element

Note I am not trying to defend the honor of Code Geass or something I think it sucks personally. I just didnt catch on to this scene

God, this show is ridiculous.

Don't forget it's showing her moving forward and back. And oh, showing her blushing and leaning her head backwards and screaming. Also the juices on the table corner.

I look at shows like Gundam wing, and I'm like, 'the fashion in this show is pretentious AF,' but at least people aren't always wearing full on revolutionary jackets and epaulets all the time. They have some normal clothes.

But in Geass, I don't think we ever see people out side of their princess dress or their military jackets or whatever. Like, they're unconscious in a hospital bed, fully done up and ready to slay the runway.

I remember almost missing that episode, and when I got to the channel, that scene was playing. I was too tired to even comprehend what I saw, but it stayed on my mind for a few days

Nothing sticks out to me in Code Geass more than the scene where MC is talking with his cousin everyone likes and casually (jokingly?) suggests killing all the Japanese, but his power makes her want to do that, and then she goes out to the stadium and announces it. Perfect blend of uber-memorability and cringe.

That's the definintive jump the shark moment for me in Code Geass. It was the ultimate forced drama red flag but I was too invested to just leave. Cruel

'Look, it was only episode twenty or something in this show and we've still got to squeeze like four more episodes of drama from this bitch. And our heroes are out here trying to solve all the loose ends. Not in my house.

Someone has to take a wrench to this shit.'

Yeah. The jump the shark moment for me was the conclusion of the arc with the Chinese princess.
