It's not the tightest written finale, and it owes a lot of that to King Crimson and how he's handled at the end. Mainly because how erased time works and KC's capabilities inside of it seems to change with every use, but more recently I've been thinking about how interesting the Boss is as a character is largely grounded on Doppio and cutting him out for a shock moment makes solo Diavolo pretty bland.

Having already read the manga's final chapters, it's rather hard for me to still care about the anime. Not to mention, Jojo in general is written like garbage. This Diavolo character is actually a pretty shitty villain.

My realization about Diavolo is that he's actually more confusing and broken than his Stand. Idk why he bothers looking into the future when he can almost instantly read a situation as confusing as Chariot Requiem.

And yet at the same time, he spends most of his fights being backed into a corner. It's like if Kira had Bites the Dust the entire time but his fights still went exactly the same

Yeah SCR weakness wasn't handled well in the manga either. I expected DP to smooth that out like they did a lot of other moments.
