Because more often than not their "exclusives" are things that were on Steam or were promised they were going to be on Steam before Deep Shillver took them away, and also apparently their interface isn't as refined and user-friendly as Steam. Also it's a pain to have to download however many clients and remember what games are on which ones when you want to play.

the sudden exclusitivity after all these years of most every title imaginable being available fairly and simultaneously via steam

also client/source privacy issues regarding accoint information in relation to Epic related industry relations

I may not have worded that correctly but tl;dr - epic is forcing its foot in the door by buying exclusivity while servicing a client/methodology that isn't secure regarding confidential clientele data (I.e. passwords or other such sensitive factors)

It helps that GOG actually offers something worthwhile to consumers (DRM free games)

I don't think steam is that great but epic store is blatantly anti-consumer to gain marketshare... Like i barely play PC games and it seems p obvious
