In that particular case there isnt much of a story. I was sitting in traffic when I saw a very solid-looking woman, completely nude with long dark hair, materialize by the roadside and run into the traffic, through cars, and then disappear into thin air. Whole thing lasted maybe three seconds. But this isnt entirely unusual for my life. Im actually a clairvoyant who senses, sees, and occasionally communicates with ghostly and spiritual entities. I realize Im totally setting myself for ridicule here by saying so, but it is what it is and I'm confident in my beliefs. Im actually giving a lecture tonight on my newest book, exploring a lot of my experiences and (in some cases) not so popular theories on the paranormal.

Have you ever seen a ghost with penises where the eyes should be? I haven't and I don't even know that that's a thing but I feel like it would be funny and also that a ghost like that would seem less scary and threatening because of the amusement factor.

Well, all I can say is that I never set out to upheave anyone's belief system or make a big thing out of it. I just see what I see, know what I know, and you can take it or leave it. In fact I highly encourage a healthy sense of skepticism when it comes to taking information at face value; thats actually a large theme in what I write about, how ridiculous it has all become. Psychic is a very loaded word which brings to mind all kinds of goofy images of middle-aged women in flowing shawls, hands with long-ass nails poised over crystal balls, claiming to see the future. Yeahit doesnt quite work like that. Personally, I sense, see, and communicate with spiritual energies. Sometimes information will translate as a picture in my mind, or a little scene will play out, while other times I just flat-out see figures with my own two eyes walking through walls or what have you. Otherwise Im about the most boring, unremarkable person you will ever meet. I come home, drink six cups of coffee, play Mortal Kombat, and go to bed by 9pm. If Im feeling super crazy I might pull out a jigsaw puzzle! (lol) Trust me, I know the paranormal is a very abstract thing to get on board with if you havent had any personal experience with it. (However, your total adamancy that it simply cant and doesnt exist at all just because you havent had any experiences is very narrow thinking.) But anyhow. All I ask is that you believe *I* believe it. My integrity is central in all that I do, personally and professionally, and quite frankly I would rather be thought of as a lunatic than a liar.

Belief in the paranormal isn't harmless. It gives false hope to people who are grieving, among many other things.

Oh, I agree. Because it throws the people with legitimate gifts and talents into boxes which they have to spend the rest of their lives explaining themselves out of :)

Did you see my post a page back? It's really all I can say. I don't know what else to tell you. I think you're letting a lot of your preconceived, unflattering stereotypes about LaToya Jackson grade "psychics" cloud a lot what you place within the realm of believability I've met people like you before and I will meet people like you again. This is not a slur or saying you're a bad person, but you can't shift someone's entire belief system in one conversation, on an internet message board no less. You just gotta go with what resonates with YOU, man, and let others do the same. And, for the record, I HAVE been observed, with the spirits I see or am hearing as later being validated as real once-living people.

So again, I never set out to upheave anyone's belief system or make a big thing out of it. I just see what I see, know what I know, and you can take it or leave it. In fact I highly encourage a healthy sense of skepticism when it comes to taking information at face value; thats actually a large theme in what I write about, how ridiculous it has all become.
