Congratulations to the Netherlands but it was a very strange situation to be honest.

They came 3rd with the jurors and 2nd with the televote and therefore won over Sweden and Norway despite not being the favorite of either entity.

This is the second time in four Eurovisions that neither the public nor the jury favourite win. Having both jurors and televote was implemented in 2009. 1956-1996 only had jurors while 1997-2008 only had televote.

Norway 2009 and Germany 2010 both won the jury vote and the televote.

Azerbaijan in 2011 won the televote and came 2nd with the jury.

Sweden 2012, Denmark 2013 and Austria 2014 won both jury and televote.

Sweden in 2015 won the jury vote and came 3rd with the televote.

Ukraine won in 2016 by coming 2nd with both.

Portugal in 2017 won both.

Israel in 2018 won the televote and came 3rd with the jurors.

Doesnt really affect who wins that often otherwise Sweden would not have second to most wins
