I got an e-mail a couple weeks ago saying I needed to update my password because of strange activity. I didn't think much of it (don't use the app that much) but decided to reset my password, and they can't find any record me of when I try my username and e-mail addresses in the "reset password" page.

someone hacked your account and changed the info. happened to me around thanksgiving, contact spotify support asap. they will ask for proof of payment for the account so have a premium bill or w/e available

Well that's lame. I just checked what my saved password was and it was a compromised password (I've already changed that on every other site I care about).

I don't recall ever actually subscribing so I guess I'm not too concerned but I might as well call just in case.

I submitted a trouble ticket to Spotify support and this is all I got:

Does that mean they are actually actively working on this or does their customer "support" site just generate a generic e-mail when you try to ask for help on there?

Lol that is so confusing, an extra line saying "While our staff is reviewing your trouble ticket and will respond soon..." before the "here are some quick options" bit would clarify a lot.
