Upgrade Nipper into Petey Piranha and level him to 99. Victini is also quite early and not hard for a legendary. Those two together will get you started breaking into the 4 star fights. Then you can equip Geno, Chun-Li, and James McCloud with Great Zapfish or Ana or whatever other supports you need for the fight.

Ore club is all you need to steamroll 90% of WoL, especially with a few skill tree unlocks.

Also right now Olimar is broken in WoL and Spirit Board, any of his air attacks destroys most characters in a few hits and makes bosses a joke. I think all he needs is a primary spirit equipped to make the magic happen.

I used Geno, The Boss and James McCloud for the rest of my game. The Boss is somewhere in the western section of the Light world, near a forest or so. You'll of course need poison immunity for that though

Olimar has nothing on Giant DK one-shotting all those encounters with 4 opponents trying to swarm you.

Farm the Spirit Board for some Aces, level them up. Legends are going to be tough, no matter what.

Unless you use ore club with a strong primary and Olimar. Then you laugh in the faces of legends.

Ore club isn't going to work on Dr Wily or Pauline

Little Mac has been wrecking everything for me. I've got a primary spirit from Street Fighter that increases punching power, Victini increasing the power of smash attacks, some Rock form Mario that increases physical attack power, and a train thing that increases the power of dash attacks as well as increases movement speed.

With this setup, if an enemy tries to block a slightly charged smash attack, the shield busts immediately.

I said 90% or so. For Dr. Wily use Captain Falcon, franklin badge, and side b booster. Spam side B to win easily. For Pauline use the staff with item attack boosts. May take a few tries depending on what Mario does but pretty easy.

I've also used them pretty much since I got them.

I have quite a few great 4* ones on top of those now. Sirius (can't remember if it's enhanced), Soma Cruz (enhanced Dracula), Primal Groudon (enhanced Groudon IIRC, only 2 slots though), etc.

I hear that Light Suit (enhanced Dark Suit) is good but I haven't found it yet.

I just used Giant or Super armor Ike. Heavy, range and power without flinching. Easy ticket to all the legend spirits

The real answer is the Zapfish, which I'm pretty sure you're required to get. Giant is such a broken skill. You just go giant and smash attack over and over

I did mention Zapfish, but I think Petey Pirahna is the earliest spirit you're likely to get with Giant, unless you're lucky enough to grab Mumkhar (2 stars) or Metal Gear ZEKE (1 star) early off the Spirit Board and upgrade them into spirits with Giant + Metal start.

Oh yeah Metal Face is a pretty early Giant start huh. That one is a pretty great one to start with, and ZEKE you get pretty early on as well I think

Not in WoL. Mumkhar is in the very very last area and ZEKE is Spirit Board only I think? (Unless I'm remembering wrong and it's actually a summon)

The problem with Metal Face is that he's at a disadvantage against defender types which sucks if you don't KO them before the effects wear off. The ore club is universal with any of your strongest 3 slot types and so I prefer using that for cheese.

Yeah you're right, I just saw Mumkhar in the very very last area. I guess I remembered wrong because I literally always had him. Made it a point to get all the Xenoblade chars I see in Spirit Board, and I guess I forgot about getting Mumkhar early

And yeah his type is definitely a downside. Also the metal form is really really brief
