i currently have a 55" and sit just over 6' away. according to
https://blogs-images.forbes.com/kevinmurnane/files/2017/10/chart_Rtings.com_.jpg i would barely notice a difference. those of you that play vidya in 4k, do you notice much difference vs 1080? if so how far away do you sit and what size screen? seems like an awful lot of money (new TV + pc upgrades) for something that may not be very noticable. --- Playing: God of War, Soul Calibur VI, Smash Ultimate (~);} - I suppose it will all make sense when we grow up - {;(~) ... My gf's gaming PC is hooked up to a 50" 4K TV, and I personally notice no difference in graphic quality compared to 1080p. Mid-settings 1080p vs ultra-high-settings 1080p is a much more noticable difference than ultra-high 1080p vs ultra-high 4K IMO.
On the other hand, I notice a very clear difference between 4K and 1080p on the desktop / in non-game apps on my 15.6" 4K screen laptop. --- Nope. I'm totally not the white ninja. You're confusing me with someone else. ... Copied to Clipboard!
