What made 2 enjoyable to me is that you could explore and find collectibles to upgrade your gear, and you could upgrade everything. 3 put too much emphasis on long ass challenges that were way too easy to fail (or get a silver on, at least), and some of them were so far in the late game that it meant you'd unlock some really awesome stuff just in time for the very last mission and then never have a reason to use it again. 4 sounds like a confusing ass mess to me though and it makes me wonder what they're doing in their studio. 3 launched as a glitchfest. 4 launched as a glitchfest. They totally butchered control schemes and the menu interface - why? Hexenherz 12/05/18 8:52:23 AM #17:	Literally all they had to do was make a (true) Mercenaries 2 where there'd be a few different factions with different technology focuses and as you build rapport with one or the other you unlock access to more and more destructive technologies like air cruise missile strikes or naval bombardments.
