Climate change is a world problem, and even if the most progressive people possible took over all of the US they still would not necessarily be able to solve it. Nuclear war is not even close to as likely now as it has been at many points during the Cold War and again the US isn't the only country with nuclear weapons. I don't like Trump, I don't like Republicans, I don't like the US environmental or military policy, but I am not going to make alarmist statements that only appeal to other radicals to try to convince people.
