Decided to play through the AC series after playing Origins and really getting into it, and somehow I have like 80% of the games in my library already so why not.

AC1 always kinda burned me out with the relatively clunky and slow climbing mechanics and the lack of activities and the repetition.

But I'm playing through it and actually kickin' ass and enjoying it.

I just hate those drunk/crazy people that push you like assholes, those get on my nerves and I hope they're gone in the later games.
Also feel like I'm missing stuff in the real world sequences :|

It's bad in hindsight compared to where the series ended up in AC2 and Brotherhood.

Regardless that game was still groundbreaking for its time.

The story is pretty cool though.

The comat legitimately just involved dancing and countering, there was no challenge.

The only thing that pissed me off about 1 was how if you tried to move anywhere faster than a slow amble, the guards would twig and chase you.

Yeah that's confusing. They're not consistent about it either. Also I hate that random people can run into the guards and it's fine but I look at a guard the wrong way and they come after me.

Ac1 made it feel like you were an actual assassin rather than just a warrior that uses stealth sometimes

You should see how I've been playing it you might disagree >_>. I think I've botched all the assassinations except for one.
