Oh its a small detail but the stand doesn't murder the janitor until he turned it back on

I guess they were supposed to be "honest" and report in after the flame went out
presumably them lighting it back up means they were gonna try to pull a fast one

but still doesn't explain them making them a stand user when they fail though

It just occured to me that the ending songs for part 4 and 5 are slightly similar. but uh, they turn really different really fast

the test is a trap created to make more stand users for the gang

you're supposed to fail it when the guards check you by putting the light out, but giorno was able to get around that because he's already a stand user. Everyone else would re-light it once they're out of the jail and would either get turned into a stand user or die. However if someone was cunning enough to get through all that without a stand and keep it lit then clearly they would be valuable to the gang as well.

it still does

but this a automatic stand which that never happened with (see Sheer Heart Attack in Part 4)

I will say I'm still satisfied with the fights so far

they're short but clever and creative enough for me to really enjoy them

once they get into more elaborate and long winded fights, I'm sure its gonna get fucking crazy

I just assumed it was gonna go the usual Anime route and we'd meet and recruit them all one by one

I noticed earlier Giorno got scratched by the arrow twice

I assumed this meant he was gonna become awakened like Kira did or maybe adopt two stands

my line of reasoning was that the Alien dude in part 4 only got scratched

but then I realized that no wait, hes an alien. And he was already familiar with his own powers even if he WAS already a stand user. So yea, a scratch is not enough to give someone a stand

I guess they got their bases covered there at least

Edit: with that said, I'm now assuming they're gonna explain that random "awakened" nonsense crap that happened with Kira since the arrows are back

I'm sure thats gonna come into play

the cool part of that episode was they did the whole 'OH HE'S A JOJO" thing then when it switch to the part where he's gonna kill Polpo his eye color changed from blue (JoJo) to yellow (Dio)

I also think that part of why I like Part 6 more than Part 5 because Jotaro is far more involved with 6 and it focuses more on the after effects of the events of part 3

So I love returning characters but I dunno, I'm also totally down with just having new people to focus on. This series is great with keeping stuff fresh, each Part brings its own thing.
