I just did a quest about a nun getting killed, and I had to investigate the murder. Throughout the quest they make you believe that it's an ancient demon coming to haunt the followers of the saint that slayed it originally hundreds of years prior, or that it's this mysterious traveling bard who showed up just after the nun was killed, or that it was this mysterious applicant for the convent who disappeared after she showed up.

And throughout the span of your investigation more and more people die.

And at the end of it all it turns out that it was the nun herself that had gone crazy and was killing everyone, and she had killed the mysterious applicant. After you confront her on the belltower and give her a chance to repent she throws herself off it.

I mean I thought this was always a more family-oriented game >_>.

They had to go all out since it was featuring voice acting. I think it's the first quest.

They certainly didn't spare any expenses. I've done a few dozen quests but don't remember any being that absurd. I guess the plague quest is pretty sad if you think about it.
