I mean it's been a thing here and there but I never saw too many pictures from games taken with the selfie feature until now, with Spiderman and the new Tomb Raider and stuff.

its not like its a major game mechanic in any of these games its just a silly little thing some games have. no reason to get upset about it

In GTA V it fits, but in all these other games it's being shoehorned

Funny screenshots in video games to emphasize the social aspect of gaming.

Wind Waker HD let you do it with the camera in 2013, as well. BotW did it with the Sheikah Slate.
It's just a fun way to document your progress through a game and take screenshots.

Destiny 2 has a selfie emote. It works wow if got want to chronicle bosses youve killed. I dont use it but its there
