Me vs 100 Kindergartners

Opening milks.
Opening string cheeses.
Defusing "He touched my stuff," meltdowns.
Keeping them in their seats.
Getting them to throw all their trash away and clean up.
Getting them lined up for recess.

It's a trip.

The thing is, it's not even my job. I usually just go down there in lunch for a few minutes cause I like say hi to a few ones I know, but twice this week there has been no other adult staying down there and I am not gonna let 100 five year olds fend for themselves.

Just posting to vent that my job hasn't really shown me any appreciation for this and to talk about what a great guy I am.
